Amy Knight is an independent Electronic Dance Music Producer and Recording Artist who was born in Adelaide but abandoned it for Sydney, the place which she now calls home. She is formerly known for more of an acoustic sound under the same name, which saw her gain a small but loyal following for various acoustic covers and original tracks. After being diagnosed with vocal nodules in December 2015 and left unable to sing, Amy quickly sought out a new creative musical direction and found herself drawn into the silent and submersive world of Electronic Music Production. Inspired by the unique sounds that have made the mainstream by artist’s like Flume, Sia, Banks, Peking Duck, and Chet Faker, she has embraced this new Electronic sound over the last 6 months and is seeking to make it her own.
