Central Coast born Alt-Folk sensation Amy McKnight took the Israeli music scene by storm when she set out on a journey to study Sculpture at Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem a decade ago. Since then she has been performing and sharing her bluesy tunes between Jerusalem and Sydney. Amy's twisted folk demonstrates rare vocal talent, confident musical expression and pure quality song writing. She invites you into an enveloping, emotive space in which lies warm vocal tones and deep, dark musical colouration. Her vibrant lap steel and finger picked guitar work create a dynamic landscape, on one hand gentle and pleasant, on the other bold and textured. In 2013 Amy recorded her debut EP titled "Amy McKnight & Her Jerusalem 9" and toured throughout Europe.
