As an independent musician, Amy Pollock spent her formative years honing her brand of ethereal-dreamy-dark-folk-pop as a busker on the streets of Naarm/Melbourne. Soon finding herself surrounded by an eclectic family of like-minded musicians, Amy immersed herself in the independent music scene and developed the mesmerising psyche she presents today. Diving head first into the highs and lows of the human experience, Amy is driven to explore, express and create with the full force of the emotional rollercoaster of living life. Amy draws inspiration from an eclectic range of artists such as Daughter, City and Colour, Ben Howard, Charlotte Day Wilson and Lana Del Rey as well as finding a particular affinity with the soundscapes of alternative folk and dark electronic artists, immersing herself in the textures and depths they create.
