Tasmanian born artist ‘Ani Lou’ releases her first single of 2019, 'Bad Body'. The first release since Ani Lou’s shoe-gaze inspired single ‘Godspeed’ (2018), ‘Bad Body’ is a fitting succession into the dreampop-realm. Co-produced by Kate Southorn and Lachlan Phillips, mixed by Antonia Gauci (Vallis Alps, Kučka, Mansionair,) and Mastered by Matthew Redlich (Dan Sultan, Holy Holy, Ainslie Wills) ‘Bad Body’ is an assured blow to the heart. Studded with affecting vocals, 70’s inspired synth lines, ambient guitar layering and apparent meaning ‘Bad Body’ is an intimate song of substance that can catch its listeners off-guard. “’Bad Body’ is a song for those who have felt out of control in relation to themselves and their surroundings.
