Melbourn's Ana Nicole are a drum machine driven psychedelic dark wave outfit. Their music is both a sonic explosion and the gloomy aftermath. Ana Nicole pick up of the futurism of electronic/post-punk movements; German New Wave, industrial/EBM and noise guitar, creating cinematic, minimal and energetic songs. Fronted by the powerful vocal and bass combination of Melissa D’or, their songs play on the contradictions of excess, desire and sexuality.
