Having released three albums with his band Audiac, Andrew Schraa decided to release a solo album under the name ‘Analog Youth’ (a reference to youth and a joke as all of the album was recorded digitally). The album represents a different side to Andrew as it reflects mostly of his love of electronic music and beats. There are strong nods to the Chemical Brothers, New Order and the more experimental side of the Stone Roses. In a contrast to his band Audiac there are hardly any guitars on the record. Highlights include ‘Caught in a glance’, ‘Coming up for the Feeling’ and ‘Change’.
