And He Sang is the work of Melbourne singer-songwriter Andy Coffey. A blend of influences from British soft rockers Radiohead and Coldplay to Aussie legends (sort of) Neil Finn, Nick Cave and You Am I led to a debut album with more diversity than an old, old wooden ship. The self-titled album features 10 songs written over a six year period. Recorded and produced by D. Rogers (surely one of Melbourne's most underrated singer songwriters) with Tim Coghill (Matt Corby, Georgia Fields) tapping the sticks, Georgia Fields lending her amazing vocals to one of the tracks and Dave Rogers pressing the keys. All other instruments and vocals are performed by Andy Coffey. Currently unsigned.
