With a sound that can't quite be categorised, that will get your attention and have you craving just that little bit more, Angelus Noir have not just created their own unique music style, but have reinvented more then one style on the way. Their name was chosen well, meaning "Dark Messenger" in French, this band has gone about addressing issues of today's society and throwing it in your face with sharp double kicks, dirty guitar riffs, resonating bass, melodic vocals and that extra grunt added to grab and keep your attention. What started as a six member band, in April of 2005 (the brainchild of vocalist Trojan) has slowly but surely become the tight knit four piece that exists today. Throughout the change in line up, there has been a distinct change in the sound of Angelus Noir. What started out as a reasonably "soft metal band," has become distinctly heavier in sound through changes in band members and their influences.
