Anika Giselle figured out early on that music was better than pretty much anything else bar chocolate and sunshine. She spent her formative years attached to a guitar, piano or ukulele and then spent 2 years recording her <b>debut EP 'Up'</b> whenever she could squeeze into a studio (usually at midnight on a Sunday or Thursday at 6am). Her songs are filled with wanderlust, whimsy, introspection and humour with influences from ranging nineteenth century poetry and Greek mythology to her own reflection. When not performing and recording Anika works full time as a guitar/piano teacher at a music school in Sydney.
