My name is Anson Leonard King and i am 17 years old. I was born on Norfolk Island in 2002. I have 2 older sisters. We have all represented our Island in various local and overseas festivals. I've been surrounded by music my whole life and have loved playing with, the local bands, where they've always encouraged me, the Norfolk Island Uke group (we were going to be attending the Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture in Hawaii but Covid shut that down) and with my mates at parties. I enjoy playing for the family and at public and private functions. I started school in 2008 at the Norfolk Island Central School and have done my entire schooling there. I started playing music in 2012 and wrote my first decent song last year and just missed the deadline for 2019 unearthed. Been hanging out to enter this year. Thanks for the opportunity to enter this awesome competition, good luck to everyone. Can't wait to hear all the entries
