Ant is a singer/songwriter based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. His relationship with music & performance started early, but the chance to pick up an electric guitar for the first time, in high school, was a soul defining experience. It's had him hooked verging on obsession ever since. A number of school & university bands were to follow, the highlight of which was a tour of Eastern Europe. A strong love for melody and a voracious appetite for many genres of music have been additional catalysts in the development of Ant's own songwriting style and sound. His songs are inspired by the stuff that life throws at us. Not just the standard love gained, love lost, unrequited love themes are attempted. The other things that might be better understood by putting them to music are approached as well.
