‘anywhere but dead’ are from Adelaide South Australia and formed in July 2005. Andrew and Leigh have been friends since high school, and Leigh met Szymon at university. Andrew and Leigh have been jamming and writing material for 6 years before Szymon rounded out the line up. We took our band name from a Soundgarden song (“The day I tried to live” off the album “superunknown”). Dennis recently joined through a mutual band association with Leigh and has now taken over the vocal and lyric duties.
