The band originally formed in early 2009 in their local high school, the first members were bet friends Duncan Elms and Curtis Lambert, but had no initial band practice until late August, with around 5 songs made in the process. In November Tim Coates Joined the band as a 2nd guitarist, but later moved to the drums so that the band can get a beat happening. While on the search for a drummer to fill tim's slot they came across Eden Thornbury who we had known was a guitarist for a long time but didn't think he was as good as Tim and Duncan they were wrong. Having learned how to tap, play fast solo's and really get a riff happening, Apocalyptic Prototype Reqruited him quickly. Having only 1 band practice together they knew they had something awesome happening.
