Driving with delicacy and soul, Copenhagen's singer-songwriter April lays out her truths and vulnerabilities in poetic and boldly observational ways as she guides listeners through a sweet and romantic journey of visionary and jazz-kissed soundscapes. No walls surround her songs and her catalogue touches on free-jazz and blues as well as ska and reggae. Far from writing to simply win attention, the Australian-based duo delivers a journey through hypnotically emotive lyrics and natural instrumentation with an immediate warmth and blissful softness. With plans to take the band on the road as soon as possible, a forever unique and heartfelt April And The Drift will undoubtedly be making some unmissable appearances across the European and Global music scenes before the end of 2021.
