Archaic emerged onto the Perth live scene in 2009 bringing their high energy interactive show to the stage at The Castle with regular appearances. They experimented with different line ups during 2009 and 2010 whilst opening the WA leg of the national metal festival, Bastardfest in 2010. As well as Bastardfest, Archaic could be seen, and heard, last year playing support for Combined Death Toll and Sins of the Father. Archaic’s first public release, the self recorded You’re all Soulless Filth was mastered by Oracle Studios utilises the attack of Black Metal combined with the heaviness of Death Metal and a touch of melodic female vocals to create their own brand of extreame metal.
