Formed in early April of 2011 Sydney five piece band 'ARCHERS' are breathing new life into this industry. Although only being together for a short time the band are still young and discovering their sound. Their progressive take on indie rock can best be described as the lovechild of The Killers and Foals. The group consists of Sebastien Fournier (vocals), Bryce Leary (bass), Steven Yuen (guitar), Alex Dimitrovski (guitar) and Marcus Dullard (drums) who all come from different musical backgrounds, which adds to the development of their sound. Their first single 'Strangers' is a testament to their creative musical abilities. The vocals and drums initiate the song followed by intricate guitar work and solid bass hooks which result in an atmospheric upbeat, catchy stadium song richly layered and perfectly executed.
