SheisArjuna is the solo project of Shan Curry, who hails from the Surfcoast in Victoria. With 20 years experience in the music industry, SheisArjuna's edgy, alt-pop sound can be attributed to a diverse range of musical influences. From the hardcore sounds of Parkway Drive to the pop/R&B vibes of Justin Bieber and everything in between, she would describe herself as 'genre-fluid' when it comes to her musical style and taste. The singer, songwriter and producer uses a stream of consciousness approach to songwriting, thus her music feels somewhat like a melodic journal, an expression of the light and dark elements of the world and her place within it. Capturing her passion for environmental and socio-political issues, her debut album, ‘The Age of Convenience’, set for release on November 26th, showcases Shan's strong yet angelic vocals combined with empowering lyrics to form a unique sound that is authentic, inspiring and catchy.
