Brisbane band Arkism draw from a wide pallet of musical styles but in essence, the songs radiate with an underlying catchy Pop aesthetic, infuenced by neo-soul, trip-hop and dub. Since mid 2018 Arkism have been writing, crafting and honing their set. The band features a killer line up of Brisbane stalwarts - Ange Santamaria on vocals & trombone (One Dragon Two Dragon), Dave Bell on drums (Kingfisha), Brandon Mamata on guitar (HBRT, Captain Dreamboat), Rohan Seekers on keys and synths (Astro Travellers, Desmond Cheese) and Lachlan Symonds on bass (HBRT). Their debut single and music video ‘Alright’ is out now and their debut EP is in progress, currently being mixed at So Soap Studio, Brisbane.
