Artemis Fink are a folk-rock outfit from Brisbane. Their soulful lyrics supported by a solid, yet delicate instrumentation gives a fresh energy to the genre. The five piece have crafted a sound that blends a well developed old-school production with a unique approach to song structure and melody - similar in vibe to bands like Snow Patrol and Something for Kate but with a more complex, layered sound. Crafting such works as All the Craze and Church Yard Pew are great examples of the stylistic pallet we can come to expect from Artemis Fink, blending acoustic and electric instruments, thick sounds drums and great vocals that all come together to tell such emotive stories both lyrically and sonically. Their upcoming EP "Get Familiar" will be released end of October 2013, with a full length album to follow late in 2014.
