In only a few short months since their inception As I Destruct have emerged from obscurity and worked their way to the forefront of the Adelaide Heavy metal scene with their groove laden style of death metal garnering instant recognition among local fans and earning them support slots with the likes of King Parrot, Disentombed, Truth Corroded and Hidden Intent. Never content to rest on their laurels, the band is ready to capitalize on that early momentum as they set their sights on a national assault with the release of “From Fear to Oblivion.” Mixed and mastered by Andy Kite (I Exalt, Universum) the debut album is set to showcase to the world a band that is never afraid to push the boundaries of its song writing and musicianship. Featuring twelve tracks laced with haunting melodies, crushing grooves and the unmistakable growl of Luke Dietrich, all working in unison to create a unique journey for listeners that is both unrelenting and simultaneously thought provoking.
