Ash Kanna has an unusual perspective. He interprets naturally because more than anything else he reaches deep into the soul for meaning. Inspired by love lost, the value of people, and anything that can be perceived, he feels a sense of community through communicating with many people simultaneously. Brought up as a missionary's kid, entrenched in the soulful yearnings of gospel music, songwriting has become a natural progression. Singing in front of large congregations from a young age has helped him develop an ability to really get through to people in any environment. Through JJJ unearthed, He hopes to record in a professional environment, thereby achieving a sound that would allow others to experience his musical story-telling, and looks forward to the possibilities of where this sharing of music could take him.
