Born in Japan to an Australian mother and English father, Ash moved to Australia at only three months of age. When he was ten he moved to the Midlands in England, living there for three years while his family and he explored Europe in their spare time. It wasn't until Ash returned to Australia at thirteen years of age that his love affair with guitars began. Since then Ash has steadily learnt his way around his best friend, an Art & Luthrie steel-string acoustic, and last year, after undergoing a severe emotional battering, the first of Ash's songs were born. Since then his music has flourished, as have his fingertip callouses, and every emotion, every high or low, is simply another chord in his next song.
