Breaking out of COVID lockdowns, Asha released her Debut single ‘Burnt Toast and Marmalade’ winning several awards with a 4 star review from Dave Ruby Howe on Triple J Unearthed. Asha played many shows throughout 2020 where she could, whilst balancing music with her schooling and a global pandemic. In early 2021 Asha was given an opportunity to chat to Coldplay’s Chris Martin for a Webex promo seminar. After inquiring about her music Chris looked up and listened to her latest single ‘Not 4 U’ whilst on Webex and was very impressed by the young artists talent and what he heard. Since the Webex promo was released publicly things have moved rapidly. She had interviews on national TV programs including playing live on channel 9’s the ‘Today Show. Since then Asha has released her single ‘Dragonfruit’ which lead her to play the all ages tour in 2022 alongside The Chats, Allday and JK47 aswell as the Red hot summer tour where she opened very well known artsist.
