Ever since a young kid, Ashby has been hooked on music which lead to mucking around with freestyling and production at an early age. Ever since leaving high school Ashby decided to take his musical talent a step further by enrolling at MAINZ (Music Audio Institute of NZ) where he met and teamed up with up n coming DJ's and producers. Not afraid to grab the microphone at any chance Ashby has been proving he has what it takes with the best of them with playing at various clubs and house parties in Christchurch and over the South Island. Being very diverse in the styles he offers, with hip-hop being his early influence, he has branched out into other genres and shows knows what to do to hold the mic/stage down! Big things are on the horizon for MC Ashby.
