Ashgroove are set to release their debut album ‘First & Last’ on October 6, and have provided Unearthed listeners with a sneak peek to three absolute heaters ahead of the record’s release. ‘For the Time Being’ is an eerie, uneasy vocal-centric track with a live feel and strong electronic elements. ‘Book Club’ is a tongue-in-cheek pop number, with a hard hitting bass line, punchy drums and trippy vocal work. ‘I Know, I Know’ takes Ashgroove back to their emotional roots while still following the instrumentation and style of the album, with thick, complex harmonies and a deep sense of nostalgia. ‘First & Last’ is a cohesive combination of the five-piece’s eclectic taste and will be available on all streaming platforms. For the time being, enjoy this tasting platter.
