Hi, I'm Ashley. I used to live in Hong Kong, where a handful of people control big property, the big supermarkets, the two drugstore chains and the mobile phone companies. Where the tycoons are crooks and the government is in bed with them. And now, as a consequence, the streets are battle zones. One day I want to live in Nashville, but for now Melbourne is my home. This is a bio about me and a band called the Scaffolders, who are a bunch of guys from Australia. The Scaffolders are brave, dexterous and sweet. Especially Justin. They helped me make my first record - Slippery Fish. They helped a lot. Especially Justin. And Julian. And Cameron, who writes the songs. It worked out so well that we did another, called Half the Gypsy, and then a third - Not in Kansas. Music is my everything. Check it out. A
