Edit history

Asparagus Soop is a high-energy psychedelic punk rock band from the coastal town of Mandurah, WA. Made up of Callum Benzies (vocals/guitar), Lewis Wipp (bass), Joel Stinten (guitar/vocals), and Jarrad Wheildon (drums/vocal), they’re a tight-knit group of mates fueled by a shared passion for loud, in-your-face rock music and a deep-rooted appreciation for early 2000s emo bands. After a brief hiatus, Asparagus Soop returned in 2023 with a fresh line up - adding Jarrad and Joel to the mix with a bold and dynamic sound that reflects their growth as musicians. Currently the band are working on their debut EP, a self-recorded project that is set to be released in early 2025.
