Created by Zachary Meagher and Mateus Brandao in 2011, Aspyre is a musical project that plays on the edges of digital and analogue sound. Heavily influenced by the likes of Plini, Animals as Leaders, Karnivool and Tesseract, they bring the structures and rhythms of progressive metal into the sonic world of electronica. Atmospheric pads combine with dark riffs below melodic synth lines and soaring guitar solos to create what can only be described as intensely visual instrumental music. This is music unlike any other you’ve heard before. Aspyre will soon release an album through Underfoot Records.
