Townsville psychedelic punk folk outfit Astronaut Launch Party have been described as a “raucous circus of hyper speed gypsy rock” embracing “just about every element of theatrical rock & roll in existence”. In 2018, the Astronauts headed over to the UK and France for a mini tour of some pubs and at least one village square where they played with the mayor and drank a very green and extremely tasty Liqueur. This year they've been writing and recording many more fine tunage, some soon to be released under the collective name of: A Fieldguide to Local Wildlife Sounds.
