Alaska-based artist Ataxeta explores southeast Alaska's esoteric geopsychology and associated demonology. Ataxeta's "Oppressive Black Metal" style combines a diverse array of instruments, meditative ambience, gnostic formula composition techniques, and dub-like production to create an effect of intellectual and spiritual gain through absolute darkness and abandon.
