Sydney Based singer-songwriter Athésia was born in Montreal to Haitian parents. She’s of french, spanish and taino descent (indigenous from the Caribbean). From Dub music (featuring on Deabeat album New World Observer) to house music (featuring on (Miguel Graca single) Athésia is also includes Jazz, Latin, Bossa Nova with a French & Creole Touch. Athésia's voice is powerful yet soulful. Ever since she started singing, the public appreciate her vocals be it in Brazil, China, Argentina, Vietnam and Peru, where she sang during the Francophonie celebrations. Athésia is working on new material for an album with contributions from Australian artists. The album will initiate an innovative musical journey through the Haitian roots of the singer-songwriter.
