Atresia started in April 2006. Anthony and Kaustav were currently in another band that had no name at the time, when our good friend Kathy suggested that we make another band with the current members and her as drummer. Ashley suggested that we have Andrew drum instead due to availability and location and in doing so...we kicked her out before she was in. We started simply, playing mainly metallica covers and have now developed into a fully fledged song writing band with 5-7 originals. We still love to play the odd cover and encourage you to come see us at our next gig!
