Audio Chain is a 3 piece progressive rock/metal band with an alternative edge, formed in early 2013 on the Gold Coast. The band pushes the musical envelope by employing anything from aggressive to ambient styles of guitar, bass and drum playing. Chaotic can be the only way to describe Audio Chainʼs approach to writing music, with a high level of musicianship an absolute necessity. At the core of the Audio Chain machine is an unrelenting desire to push the creative boundaries, whilst striking a fine balance of digestible, big, catchy vocal hooks combined with busy instrumental arrangements. Taking influence from a wide variety of influences, Audio Chain essentially challenges the listener, not knowing what is coming next. And with their first EP release in 2016, The Tip of The Iceberg, the CD does just that.
