Aureus spawned in the underbelly of the independent music scene of Sydney's Northern Beaches, dragging their grunge-pop dirt into the light of the area's predominantly breezy surf-culture. Hard working and dedicated, the group is fronted by Will Tremain - singer, guitarist, and creative force - with Callum Bevan (drums) and Jason Tremain (bass) providing the grinding machinery to drive the grunge-rock powerhouse that is Aureus' music. With a slew of gigs, recording sessions and original songs under their belts, this three piece band have been hard at work and turning heads wherever their sound is heard, rapidly gaining popularity since forming in 2014. Currently, Aureus is mixing a batch of new songs to follow up their second EP, 'Dweller'. Keep your eyes out for the next show, theirs is one not to be missed!
