Automatik Teller Machine is a collaboration based in Melbourne, founded by Matt Miller and Darren J Matthews. Formerly the backbone of Majik Silver White who in the late 90s were grooving Melbourne's pubs with their souped up Curtis Mayfield-esqeu experience - Matt and Darren continued their quest for writing the most infectious tunes they could dream up. Recently Matt and Darren were working on re-recording a few tunes that were never finished as they got sucked into the domestic grind of fatherhood but had emerged out the other end with the same passion. Unfortunately, Matt Miller recently passed away in tragic circumstances as they were preparing the release of a new video to promote Fisherman's Warning. Hopefully these tunes will find some appreciating ears as a lasting legacy and lift the spirits of his daughter who no longer has any parents.
