AVA is an original new face in the music industry, however definitely no beginner when it come to performing and creating music. Hailing from the South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, she forged her own lane in the music industry as a unique artist after growing popularity for her covers where she created a buzzing online presence to the likes of artists such as Snoh Aalegra. She has formed a strong identity based around female empowerment and self healing reminiscent to artists such as Erykah Badu, Beyonce and SZA. AVA demonstrates a keen passion for providing music that aims to trigger internal reflection whist providing a healing voice within the realm of Contemporary and Alternative RNB. AVA draws upon both old and new school influences from RnB, Soul, Alternative RnB, Hip Hop, Pop, Spoken Word, Jazz, Neo-Soul and combines casually poetic lyrics with an emotional vocal delivery to create her own force to be reckoned with.

I’m AVA, a singer/songwriter from the Central Coast. For the past 12 months, I’ve been creating my first project with talented musicians, producers, and artists from Sydney to Melbourne. Now at 20 years of age, I feel as though I’ve finally found the sound that was waiting for me. I co-wrote CRAZY in Melbourne with the insanely talented Maribelle who also produced it. My friend Andrei Ermin then mixed it for me. I classify my music as Dirty Pop and I am inspired by killer pop queens like Sia, Lorde, and Mø
