Edit history

Avenues is an up and coming Heavy Hardcore band in Adelaide, Australia with a completely fresh outlook on defining a new branch of hardcore and giving back to the local scene. We're also planning to release a Demo/EP in early 2011.

Avenues are a 4 piece alternative/grunge band from Melbourne. Formed in October 2014 the band played a short stint of shows and released their self titled EP in quick succession but were forced to go into hiatus shortly after its release. After nine months the band has returned with a new sound influenced heavily by a combination 90s grunge and modern shoegaze. The band makes use of two alternating lead vocalists and explore various songwriting themes including depression, loss and a band member's fight against cancer. Avenues are currently in the process of recording a collection of songs that were written over the course of their hiatus.
