AVOCADO are a Geelong grunge band that was formed by singer/guitarist Sam Young in Whittington, Geelong in 1996 when the band members were only 9. AVOCADO were originally a 4 piece before changing to a 3 piece in early 2002, a change which has suited there sound and musical creativity. The boys are now 26 years old and enjoy eating fruit platters. The 'CADOS' as they are known by the locals all went through Music class together & would listen to the SGT.PEPPERS album everyday. MUSIC IS FREEDOM. MUSIC IS IN EACH AND EVERYONE OF US.TURN IT UP FOR THE KIDS, YOUR PARENTS AND THEIR PARENTS (YOUR GRANDPARENTS).
