Axis of Conversation is breakbeats and backwards guitars. It’s strings, samples and stolen noises. It’s familiar pop from foreign strangers. Onstage, you’ll see a cello and a violin as old as your grandparents. You’ll see more Filipino men than you’ve ever seen in any other band. You'll recognize the drummer from 234 other groups. But somehow it will all make sense.
