Axis Union's lungs are filled with beautiful sea air everyday! All those positive iions and the passion for rock gives us more than enough inspiration to create new and original music. Weekly we gather in Torquay at the old converted hay-shed (still filled with Hay!) and are inspired by the sound of waves pounding the sand of our famous Bells Beach! It's raw, it's hard, it's a sound that makes you wanna stamp your feet! Phil Lafontaine is the master poet/song writer. Jack Forsey is the human form of Animal from the muppets. We have to TURN him down - in both volume and pitch!! Dougie's firm, fat bass riffs insist you're part of it, while Mr Pink gives us all the sonic requirments that a guitarist should, underlined by his trademark blistering...this is 'SHEDROCK!!!'
