AYA J unveil their blissful new single 'Be Your Lover' - produced by German-born producer Joachim Mueller (Potbelleez, Timbaland, Timmy Trumpet). 'Be Your Lover' flaunts a hypnotic swing packed with ebbs and flows, patiently commanding shimmering adornments, before introducing lead singer Angus Field's honeyed vocals and yearning melodies. The track's idiosyncrasies shine and portray an honesty drawing from the notion of offering one's whole self to another. AYA J is an indie electro-pop group made up of Gumbaynggirr singer-songwriter Angus Field from Coffs Harbour, and drummer Sam Miller, originally from Idaho, USA, now living on the Gold Coast. In 2022 they supported The Rubens, embarked on their second tour since forming 2 years ago. A highlight this year is performing at the 2022 AFL Awards. In 2021, AYA J were Song Of the Year finalists at the Queensland Music Awards (QMA) and Gold Coast Music Awards (GCMA) for ‘Tenth Street’ and ‘Shine’ from their debut EP ‘Tenth St'.
