I have a goal for myself to achieve, I can see the Australian hip-hop scene flourish around me, each year it becomes bigger and better which is awesome. Even with the surge of Aussie hip-hop music in the past couple of years I still feel as if there are alot of lanes that people haven't gone down with their stuff, it seems very generic to be honest. I want to engrave my own sound into the scene and be able to make all different kinds of music to suit different moods. From raw shit to commercial tracks, I can do it all without compromising my artistic integrity because it's just who I am and what I love doing. http://www.soundcloud.com/brent-atkinson - B.dub

B-Dub has been hibernating in for months, working on new songs. The results are 'Discoteca Latina', a 4 track EP for digital release, including a remix from San Diego DJ/Producer Danny Massure. This will shortly be available from i-Tunes and Juno Download, as well as CD Baby and many other digital download sites. Also, a 2nd 3 track digital EP featuring remixes of 'B-Funk' by BadboE, and Sard Boogie is was released May 10 on Juno Download, and is currently #3 on the Juno Broken Beat bestsellers! A full length album will be released 2010, also with remixes from local and international artists. The sound so far is a continuation and evolution of B-Dub's somewhat unique blend of Latin, Disco, Nu-Jazz and Funk. Still mainly instrumental, but there'll be a surprise or two.. 'Bossa Beat Trip' B-Dub Full Length CD released on November 2nd, 2007. The album is for sale at the following stylish outlets in NSW..
