‘Mature’ is the most recent release from Brisbane (Australia) based DJ, producer and party guy DJ Butcher (@djbutcherr). Under the moniker B87, Mature walks (or should I say floats) the listener through synthy streams and soundscapes over 8 tracks. Skipping saws, arpeggiators, rolling bass-lines and well selected vocal cuts coupled with punching drums see Butcher’s polished mixing and mastering knowhow shine in this release. Delivering a refreshed ‘mature’ sound, this coming of age will sure leave you feeling a little bit older, lets face it – we’re not getting any younger.
