Born out of a long standing collaboration between bassist Michael Bradborn and vocalist Declan Skinner, Baby & The Kicks appeared for the first time in September 2018. Joined by Dave Williams on drums and Matt Parlane on guitar, they have since been polishing their performance playing gigs across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Using the traditional arrangement of two guitars, bass and drums, Baby & The Kicks have carefully crafted and refined their sound; pitting dark and complex themes against classic pop sensibilities to create an enticing conflict within the songs. With shimmering guitars, soulful melodies, and a rhythm section that's joined at the hips, Baby & The Kicks are moving in a way that acknowledges the past and welcomes the future. Recording at The Aviary with Fraser Montgomery, Baby & The Kicks are set to release their debut single "It's You" and make their mark in Melbourne's illustrious musical landscape.
