Bachus was born in Australia in 1974 and continues to love the music of pop bands such as Bee Gees, Hall & Oates, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Prince, Dandy Warhols and Erasure. Matty began DJ-ing in 2008, playing sets dedicated to 70’s disco and funk. Not long after, his discovery of Australia’s King Curly drove him to contact the band and offer a remix of 2 of their songs. Soon after he came 4th in the world for “Mis Amigos”, his entry in an official online Dandy Warhols remix competition. Bachus has now released his first original album - a collection of brooding, dreamy pop songs.
