Backseat drive is a family band. Our aim is to provide soul music for our audiences and we continue to be inspired by artists such as Sam and Dave, the Staple Singers, James Brown, Otis Redding and others that traversed that wonderful era of soul music in the 60s. These influences are incorporated into our originals and our songs exude a fresh interpretation of the era. Our first album was recorded in the middle of 2016.
