Melbourne based psychedelic trio BADGERS have returned with the psychedelic mind-melter ‘Supposed to Know’. BADGERS’ latest offering ‘Supposed to Know’ delves between 60’s psychedelia, garage-pop and country-tinged blues; feeling like a melting-pot of The 13th Floor Elevators meets modern contemporaries Night Beats and their Melbourne mates King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard during their ‘Float Along-era’. The roasting, psychedelic-carousel beach ballad is the soundtrack for basking in the sun, whilst sipping cans and feasting on ice creams during the summer season. Following on from previous singles ‘Bad Dreams’ and ‘Why am I Your Only Your Friend?’ BADGERS, fronted by Michael Badger (who has previously worked with King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard and Amyl & The Sniffers), rise from the ever-thriving Melbourne scene, that has seen the aforementioned outfit’s, along with The Murlocs, Baby Cool and Sunfruits emerge from the capital of Victoria.
