Bandarian is a Filipino-Armenian Singer/Producer based in Meanjin (Brisbane), Australia. Drawing on the visceral beats of Electronica with the pace and stutter of Downtempo, Bandarian crafts catchy yet complex songs for fans of James Blake, Moses Sumney and Flume. Although often upbeat and punctuated with art-pop-esque hooks, his music maintains a dark edge throughout. Vulnerable and soulful falsetto-forward vocals are carefully woven into lush synth-laden soundscapes; equal parts melancholy and dancefloor.
