Bursting through Sydney’s scene is 4 piece lo-fi soul collective, Bangkok Dangerous, hailing from Inner West Sydney. BD represent the normalities in life in their songwriting and lyrics rather than the ‘what ifs’ we ask ourselves daily. Whilst sporting a combination of lo-fi hip hop, bedroom pop and neo soul, BD pull inspiration from all corners of the world, the Smiths and the Cure, Crowded House, Mac Demarco, King Krule, Frank Ocean, The Internet and Brockhampton to The Band, The Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan. Bangkok Dangerous find beauty in normality through an array of chorusy guitars, steady rock beats and poetic lyrics which capture life through the eyes of an Australian in their 20's.
