Dynamic young soul/rock outfit Bass Lemon first exploded onto the original music scene at the beginning of 2018 after forging a set just in time for Fairbridge Festival. Since then they have played over fifty gigs across the Freo-Perth circuit, refining and extending their jazz influenced alt-soul sound. Writing melancholic, hard hitting anthems of personal struggle, equality and political decay, the group's music touches a uniquely wide range of people. These songs are delivered with the raw power and emotion for which frontwoman Ellen has already begun to carve herself a formidable reputation.
